The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES)
The U.S. government passed the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act to help businesses, families, and individuals during the coronavirus crisis.Here are a few of the major provisions for small businesses:
The SBA Disaster Assistance
The Act expands the existing Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDLs) program maintained by the SBA. The Act opened EIDL to make it easier to apply and ensured that EIDLs smaller than $200,000 can be approved without a personal guarantee. The expanded EIDL loan program also offers up to a $10,000 emergency cash advance that may not need to be repaid. See https://www.sba.gov/funding-programs/disaster-assistance for more information.
Employee Retention Payroll Tax Credit
Employers who are at risk for closure due to COVID-19 can receive a payroll tax credit against eligible payroll taxes for each calendar quarter. The credit is equal to 50% of the qualified wages paid. The credit is available for an employer whose operations were fully or partially suspended due to a COVID-19 related shut-down order from an appropriate governmental authority, or if gross receipts declined by more than 50% when compared to the same quarter in the prior year.
Employer-Portion of Social Security Payroll Tax (6.2%)
These payments may be delayed until January 1, 2021, with 50 percent owed on December 31, 2021, and the other half owed in December 31, 2022. The Social Security Trust Fund will be backfilled by general revenue in the interim period
Paycheck Protection Program
Small businesses may take loans for up to $10 million for payroll and other expenses. Loans may be forgiven if used for payroll and other qualified expenses. See https://www.sba.gov/document/sba-form--paycheck-protection-program-ppp-sample-application-form for the application form.
Federal Income Tax Filing
Separately, the Treasury Department and Internal Revenue Service announced that the federal income tax filing due date is automatically extended from April 15, 2020, to July 15, 2020. Taxpayers can also defer federal income tax payments due on April 15, 2020, to July 15, 2020, without penalties and interest, regardless of the amount owed.

Our New Home at the Hughes Center

Toys for the Kiddos!
Each year we work with a local organization to help make the holidays a little more splendid for families in the Las Vegas Valley. This year we helped decorate and handed out toy donations to children with the Las Vegas Rescue Mission. The toy drive made Christmas gifts possible for over 1,500 families!

Thanksgiving at InCorp

The Las Vegas Rescue Mission teamed up with the Convoy of Hope project again this year to distribute thousands of turkeys. Red Noses Everywhere!

Red Nose Day is a fundraising campaign run by the non-profit organization Comic Relief Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) American public charity. InCorp Completes Relocation to New National Corporate Headquarters
InCorp Services has completed the relocation of its main operations to a new larger facility at 3155 E. Patrick Lane, Suite 1, Las Vegas, NV 89120-3481. Tennie Sedlacek, the Director of Operations states that the new facility will allow for more customer service personnel, and allow InCorp to grow to accommodate its ever-increasing client base. The new facility includes a seminar room, a large multimedia conference room and expanded virtual office facilities. Current clients will have use of the previous address through special arrangement with the U.S. Postal Service for approximately one year and will receive no disruption in mail service. Local process server authorities have also been advised of the move to facilitate no disruption in registered agent/resident agent services.
