How do I find out what information is required for a particular state?

Our order processing team will contact you requesting any information that was not included on our order form. If you haven’t placed your order yet, please discuss which state(s) will be best for you with one of our representatives by calling our office or contact our Client Inquiry team

How do I know how long my filing will take?

Well, that’s a complicated question. We get all orders moving along within about 2 business days (same day for expedite orders), but the total filing time depends on the state and type of filing. Each state has a different processing time, options for expedite and times of high volume delays. If you’d like an educated estimate (we can’t control the state agencies) before ordering, please contact our Client Inquiry team. Your order processing representative will review processing times and expedite options upon confirmation of your order information via email.

How do I find out how much a filing or group of filings will cost?

The easiest way to see what each filing and service item will cost is to enter the info on our order page. Don’t worry, nothing happens until you enter your credit card info and click Submit. You can customize everything you’d like us to do for you and see the total at the bottom of the order form without even entering credit card information. How do I find out more about the filing process?

That is also a complicated question. Each state has different rules and a different process for filing or requesting documents. Some are simple and can be done online the same day, while other states only accept original signature documents and take many weeks. Some states have name and place of business restrictions. Give us a call or email us to get information prior to placing an order.

How do I get a quote for my specific situation?

If our online order form doesn’t seem to fit your needs, please contact us directly to discuss what those needs are and what we can do for you. Starting or expanding a business can be complicated and we want to make sure you’re getting exactly what you need. Unfortunately with 51 jurisdictions and a bunch of different entity types sometimes a direct conversation will get us on track faster than trying to provide every scenario on our website. Do I need a physical address for my business?

There are a few different levels of address requirements depending on the state in which you are filing. Some states don’t require any addresses other than for the Registered Agent. Some states require an address which can be a P.O. Box or a physical address and can be anywhere. Other states do require an address in the filing state. Please contact our Client Inquiry team to find out the requirements for your state if there is concern prior to placing your order.
